Final interview for Fargo’s next police chief moved up to Wednesday

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The final interview for the next Fargo police chief is being moved up to Wednesday from Thursday due to scheduling issues.

The sole finalist is Interim Chief Travis Stefonowicz after two other finalists dropped out.

He will be interviewed in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall starting at 8:15 a.m.

The interview will be broadcast and live streamed across the city’s access channels and social media platforms.

The Police Chief Selection Committee will submit its recommendation to City Administrator Michael Redlinger who will bring the selection to the City Commission on Monday for approval.
