“Trashasaurus Rex”, “Bin Diesel” and “Truck Norris” now picking up Fargo’s trash

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) —

Some of Fargo’s garbage trucks now have some pretty creative names including: Trashasaurus Rex, Bin Diesel and Truck Norris.

Those were the winning entries in the city’s “Name a Garbage Truck” contest.

People submitted more than 200 creative entries.

Fargo’s Solid Waste Department and Deputy Mayor Denise Kolpack, the department’s liaison to the City Commission, reviewed the entries and selected 10 finalists.

The top three winners were voted on by the public.

The winners will receive Fargo gear.
