Moorhead, Gardner, Argusville, I-29 & I-94 Road Closures for Construction Projects

VILLAGE GREEN RAILROAD CROSSING:

If you use the Village Green railroad crossing in Moorhead, you might want to find another route.

The crossing will be closed on Friday morning until early afternoon so that the east half of 20th street and Village Green Boulevard can be paved.

Drivers can cross the tracks at 28th or 40th avenues south.

The work is part of the city’s 20th Street South construction project.

GARDNER to ARGUSVILLE, I-29

A warning to drivers and bicyclists about heavy truck traffic along County Road 81 from Gardner to Argusville for the next few weeks.

Crews are reconstructing the northbound lanes of I-29 and the Gardner interchange.

Traffic on I-29 is currently head-to-head in the southbound lanes, one lane in each direction, and speeds are reduced.

The entire project is expected to be finished in November.

I-94:

Work is getting underway on fixing a six-mile stretch of pavement on I-94.

Intermittent lane closures and delays can be expected from 8th St. in Moorhead to Hwy 336.

In mid-September, crews will add a thin layer of pavement to level out the driving surface and eliminate imperfections.
