Not Guilty Plea for Suspect in Fatal Fargo Bar Fight

Another one of the men involved in fatal bar beating pleads not guilty.

Nicholas Morris is one of four men charged with murder for the death of Joey Gaarsland outside of Rick’s and Speck’s bars in May.

Police say the fight started when Gaarsland’s wife provoked one of the men claiming he was guilty of domestic and child abuse.

The 35-year-old Gaarsland was attacked and later died after being in a coma for nearly a week.

The judge determined there is enough evidence for Morris’ trial to move forward.
