Lint to Blame for Grand Forks House Fire

Lint buildup in an electric dryer vent started a fire that damaged a house last night at 1017 Cherry Street in Grand Forks.

It broke out around 7 o’clock.

There was major fire damage to the basement and first floor and heavy smoke damage on the second floor.

No one was hurt.

The Red Cross is assisting the family of three.
