Minneapolis Hotel Hosting Journalists Involved in Suicidal Standoff
A standoff Thursday afternoon at the Minneapolis Hilton slightly disrupted a national convention of journalists.
Police say a suicidal male was holed up in a room at the downtown hotel.
It ended peacefully last night with the man unharmed and in custody.
Rooms around the man were evacuated during the standoff.
But police said there was no threat to public safety.
The National Association of Black Journalists is holding its convention at the hotel.
