Fourth Confirmed Case of E.Coli at Red River Valley Fair

The North Dakota Health Department has confirmed a fourth case of E. Coli linked to this year’s Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo.

Three other cases were reported earlier this week.

All the victims are under 18-years of age.

One of the cases has been diagnosed with a rare, dangerous complication of E. Coli.

A Health Department spokesperson says although those with the illness reported having contact with animals at the fair, the investigation is looking into other possible sources.

They also expect more cases.
