GRAND FORKS, N.D. — A 22-year-old Grand Forks man fled police Saturday just before midnight after they responded to a domestic violence complaint.

Drew Brooks Jr. is accused of sideswiping a parked car, hitting a street sign and traffic signal during the chase.

Officers used a PIT maneuver on I-29 to stop his vehicle near the Alerus Center.

Brooks faces charges of domestic violence, fleeing, DUI, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was also sighted for open container and no insurance.
