Polk County Sheriff Investigating How Man Died in Police Custody

CROOKSTON, Minn.–The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Crookston Police are investigating how a man died while in police custody on Wednesday. Sixty-one-year-old Larry Monson, of Climax, was arrested for DWI and brought to the Northwest Regional Correctional Center in Crookston. While in police custody, Monson had a medical emergency. Crookston Police Department Reports 16 Burglaries Since October 1st

CROOKSTON, Minn.–The Crookston Police Department has received 16 reports of burglaries and thefts from vehicles, sheds, garages and two homes since the beginning of October. CROOKSTON, MN — Police in Crookston say a man pulled up to the drive-thru at McDonalds, showed a gun and said, “Give me all your money. Just kidding.” Crookston Police are not laughing.
