New Lights Improve Intersection Traffic

Officials say they have already seen improvements in traffic thanks to the installation of flashing yellow turn arrows at 11 intersections.

Fargo officials say this new type of turn arrow is meant to make left turns from major roadways simpler and safer. Drivers seeing these arrows will have to yield to oncoming traffic and turn when it is safe to do so.

The city plans to add flashing yellow turn arrows at up to 13 more intersections this year.
