Citizens Police Academy

You have the chance to get a look into the life of West Fargo Police Officers.

West Fargo Police Department is now accepting applications for an 11 week session of Citizen’s Police Academy.

It’s a unique opportunity for people in the community to see department operations and the various situations the officers are faced with daily.

The first day of training starting February 26th.

West Fargo Police Department Officer Rhonda Jorgensen said, “We give them the opportunity to actually do traffic stops in a controlled environment driving out vehicles. Get the opportunity to if they wish to be tazed so pretty hands on.”

You must be 18 for the academy. Spots will be filling up fast.
