Minnesota Will Accept TurboTax Returns
Minnesota tax officials will start accepting tax returns submitted by TurboTax again today.
Intuit, the company behind TurboTax, added new anti-fraud measures yesterday after Minnesota and other states reported a rise in fraudulent filings. The Minnesota Department of Revenue said it would start accepting returns filed with TurboTax software again at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
Taxpayers who have already filed their returns using TurboTax don’t need to do anything. The department will contact them if it finds issues.
