Fargo Force Unveils Jerseys to Honor Fallen Officer Jason Moszer
The Fargo Force have released the design of the specialty jerseys that will be worn on March 11 for Heroes Are Never Forgotten Night honoring fallen Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer. The jerseys were designed by the Moszer family, Fargo Police Department and the Fargo Force.
The jerseys bear the police badge crest on the front with the words “Police Officer”, “Fargo Police” and “Moszer” written across it. The badge will also have Officer Moszer’s call number “E143” at the bottom, which was retired following his passing. The jerseys will have the Fargo Police Department logo embroidered on the shoulders, as well as the phrase “Heroes Are Never Forgotten” at the bottom to commemorate the night. The colors of the jerseys are royal blue, navy, grey and white.
Fans will have an opportunity at bidding on a game worn jersey from the game. The auction will be hosted on Bidding Owl and will begin at puck drop on March 11 at 7:05 PM. The auction will close at 2 PM on Thursday, March 17. Fans can visit the online auction directly at: http://www.biddingOwl.com/FargoForce. Bidding starts at $125 per jersey and bids must be made in $10 increments. Winning bidders will have a choice on if they want the jersey autographed (and where), along with if they want to pick up at Scheels Arena or shipped. Shipping is an extra charge of $7.95.
All proceeds from the online jersey auction will be donated back to the Moszer Family Benefit Fund through Bell State Bank. There will also be a silent auction at the March 11 game benefitting the family, along with the Fargo Force donating $3 of every single game ticket sold back to the fund.
