No Sort Recycling Coming to Fargo

“No sort” recycling is finally coming to Fargo.

Moorhead recently approved a similar plan.

Starting in July in both cities, you won’t have to separate your plastic, paper, metal and other recyclables.

People in Fargo will receive a 96 gallon container and be charged an additional three dollars a month.

It’ll cost the city around $1.4 million to supply each home with a container and buy two automated trucks.

City leaders expect the amount of recycling material collected to jump from 1,300 tons to 4,000 tons yearly.
