Bison Baseball Preps for League Leading Oral Roberts

NDSU welcomes Oral Roberts to Fargo for three game series.

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Athletics) — The North Dakota State University baseball team is scheduled to host Summit League leader Oral Roberts in a three-game series at Newman Outdoor Field May 5-7. The series opener is slated for 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 5, with games two and three scheduled for Saturday, May 6, and Sunday, May 7, at 1 p.m.

North Dakota State enters the weekend at 22-21 overall and 12-9 in Summit League play after defeating Valley City State, 8-3, Tuesday in a non-league game … Through 43 games, NDSU is paced at the plate by junior infielder Mason Pierzchalski with a .295 avg., with 24 RBI.

On the mound, NDSU is led by senior right-handers Reed Pfannenstein (3.90 ERA, 5-4, 1 SHO, 64.2 IP, 74 H, 32 R, 28 ER, 17 BB, 44 SO) and Luke Lind (4.59 ERA, 4-4, 2 CG, 2 SHO, 64.2 IP, 52 H, 34 R, 33 ER, 17 BB, 67 SO), and redshirt junior reliever Kevin Folman has a team-high six saves in 16 appearances and 20.2 innings pitched.
