Angus, Minnesota Man Sentenced in Drug Murder Case
He was charged in the March 2016 shooting death over drugs of 24-year-old Austin Forsman
GRAND FORKS, ND — The head of a meth trafficking ring, convicted to ordering a hit on a Grand Forks man who was later murdered, will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Modesto Torrez of Angus, Minnesota was convicted in federal court in October including murder.
He was charged in the March 2016 shooting death over drugs of 24-year-old Austin Forsman.
Forsman’s body was found in his vehicle at Flying J in Grand Forks.
Krystal Feist pleaded guilty in February to murdering Forsman.
She was sentenced to 30 years in jail in October.
