Ever hear the old saying, “Everything’s Jake”? It means everything is fine or a-okay. When you meet Jake, everything is, because he’s one of the calmest, most laid-back fellows we’ve ever had in studio for the Morning Show.

He and 4 Luv of Dog founder Kish Hilmert joined Emily Welker live in studio to talk about Jake, who just recovered from hip surgery and who’s looking for a forever home. Jake was in a foster with a kid and he gets along well with them, as well as with dogs, as long as they’re not too demanding of very active, high-energy play. He also loves to travel — he’s gone all over the country with his foster with no problem at all.

Jake is a Rottweiler who weighs somewhere around 80 to 90 pounds. He needs a bit of space to move around, and a family that appreciates big dogs who like to cuddle as much as Jake.
