LIVE: United Way of Cass-Clay School Supply Drive
Get driven to give kids in our region the tools they need to learn.
Hard to believe, but it’s almost back-to-school time for the region’s school kids. And when a kid starts thinking about heading back to class, you want them to worry about things like making new friends, engaging with the classroom material, connecting with their teacher… not whether they’ll have enough pens, paper and other supplies to make it through class. That’s not going to help them learn.
But you can. Here’s how. Kristina Hein of the United Way of Cass-Clay is kicking off the 2018 School Supply Drive with the Morning Show’s Emily Welker live in-studio. Check out the video to find out what you can do to put a backpack full of supplies in the hands of needy kids right here in our region. It will help them grow up smarter, better-educated and more confident about their future, and it’ll be thanks in part to you. The goal is 6,000 kids this year.
You can donate now. Watch our video, and then check out this link to find out more about the School Supply Drive, in its 20th year of helping Red River Valley kids learn.
