Rustica Reopening: GoFundMe

A local business being pushed to its limits by the coronavirus.

A popular Moorhead restaurant is asking for your help this morning keeping its doors open after financial struggles brought on by the pandemic.

Downtown Moorhead’s Rustica closed its doors due to the coronavirus health threat on March 28th.

The restaurant had changed hands to new ownership last year,  and its new owners say it’s been hard to get business loans.

They want to reopen for takeout on May 19th, but they say they need donations to do so.

There’s a GoFundMe account set up that’s reached more than $12,000 as of early Tuesday morning.

The restaurant’s owners are also looking for cloth masks to keep workers safe.
