UPDATE: J’Veonte Logan, Person of Interest in South Fargo Homicide, Arrested for Murder

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Police have arrested 20-year-old J’Veonte Logan of Fargo, a person of interest in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Zion Brooks near The Arbors in south Fargo, for murder.

Logan was located earlier this afternoon in north Fargo during a traffic stop.

He has been taken to Cass County Jail.
Police Chief Dave Zibolski will hold a press conference Thursday morning at 9:30 at the police department.
It will be broadcast on The City of Fargo channel 56, at TVFargo.com and streamed live on the FPD’s social media platforms.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Twenty-year-old J’Veonte Logan, a person of interest in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Zion Brooks near The Arbors in south Fargo, has been located.

Police and Metro Street Crimes Unit stopped a vehicle with Logan inside around 2:30 this afternoon on the 12th Avenue North viaduct.

The Fargo man, also known as Amire Logan, has been identified as a person of interest in the homicide.

Police had earlier located the vehicle Logan was driving on Monday night.

They were called to The Arbors on a report of a man being shot in the face.

Brooks was taken to a hospital where he died.

Officers believe Brooks and Logan were known to each other.

They are not releasing any other information at this time.
