Pet Connection: Meet Vinny

FARGO — A beefy boy who narrowly escaped a bad ending to his story, Vinny the pit bull came to Pet Connection with the help of his friends at Kritter Krazy Reptile and Exotic Rescue in Bottineau, N.D.

They found him at the local pound as a possible euthanasia candidate, and got him out in the nick of time.

Once they brought the good-natured pittie to the veterinarian, they discovered Vinny had been suffering from a problem with his urinary tract.

With the right prescription diet, his problem cleared up, and he’s ready to go to his furever home.

Vinny is a super-affectionate guy, like a lot of pit bulls are.

He loves to stand on his hind legs and give hugs and kisses, and he’s really a fan of being touched and cuddled by all his human friends.

Not only does he like people, he gets along well with other dogs and with cats too.

He’s six years old and he has the great manners to go with it, doing well walking on a leash and being highly food-motivated and very trainable.

Plus, it’s hard to resist that wide, character-filled, classic pit bull face with its broad happy smile.
