LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Rigatoni

FARGO — Talk about a treat for Pet Connection Thursday.

Rigatoni the black lab bounced into the studios with a smile as big as his heart and quite a story to share.

The seven-year-old senior citizen is getting a new leash on life, having dropped more than 20 pounds from his original 113-pound status since arriving at the 4 Luv of Dog rescue about a year ago.

They don’t know much about his back story, but whomever had him before taught him some wonderful manners.

He’s an outgoing dog with a ton of energy, especially since getting his weight down to a much healthier 84 or so pounds.

He has a pretty-much permanent wag to his tail, a “happy dance” he does for his breakfast, and he’s always up for an adventure to meet new friends.

He’s got no known health problems and aside from the occasional counter-surfing, he has impeccable manners.
