LIVE: Going Global at the International Potluck

MOORHEAD — Outdoor grilling season will have to wait another few days, with the rain moving in.

But the folks at the International Potluck have you covered.

The monthly gathering that invites you to sample the cuisine and cultures of your neighbors here in the metro is set for Tuesday, May 20th, and you’ll also get to shop the Global Market.

It’s an initiative, done in partnership with the City of Moorhead, that helps give you access to indigenous and traditional goods by providing a space to newcomers and indigenous makers who want to sell their foods, crafts and other goods, as well as helping them navigate the process of opening their own business.

Siham Avedy with the International Potluck joined the Morning Show to talk about the Global Market, who it’s helping, and what else you can see and experience if you attend the gathering at the Hjemkomst Center Tuesday  night from 5 to 7 P.M.
