Fargo man arrested after high speed chase Sunday night in Clay County

CLAY CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A Fargo man is arrested after a high-speed chase in Clay County.

It started around 9:30 last night on Highway 10.

A deputy tried to stop 37-year-old Jason Bearking for not having his headlights on and having no registration displayed.

He fled and hit speeds of 100 miles per hour before a mechanical issue caused his vehicle to slow.

A PIT maneuver was used to stop Bearking and he was arrested for fleeing, driving after revocation and speeding.
