Pet Connection: Meet Storm
CASSELTON, N.D. — Storm might look at first glance like a mostly-husky, somewhat-Shepherd, a-little-Aussie mutt, but dig under the surface to his genetics, and you’ll find there’s a lot of different elements in his DNA that make up one very sweet little bundle of energy and affection.
He’s about four years old and came to the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals recently as an owner surrender because her life circumstances had changed dramatically and she could no longer care for him.
That must have been heartbreaking for her, because as you’ll see in his video, Storm is especially sweet.
He’s quite shy at first, but once he gets the measure of you, he warms up and wants to be your new best friend.
Storm has a lot of energy and loves to play, but unlike a lot of husky mixes, he doesn’t need a ton of exercise to be well-behaved — a walk or two a day is sufficient.
He likes other dogs, cats, and all people, once he gets to know them.
He loves to cuddle and he likes car rides too, so you’ll be in good shape if you want a travel or snuggle buddy.
