Pet Connection: Meet Crypt
FARGO — Huskies may have a reputation for being more than a handful, but at just over 50 pounds, little Crypt is about as easy-going as you can get, and pocket-sized for your convenience.
His foster mom at 4 Luv of Dog Tracy Kurtz doesn’t have much of a backstory on him before he came into the rescue.
But at about five years old, it’s clear he was someone’s pet, someone who took the time to teach him the ropes of being a good and gentle pet.
Crypt has a solid skill set, including sit, stay, down and other important commands.
He’s equally happy chilling out on the couch as he is in the car or going on another adventure, and he’s got plenty of playful energy balanced by the common sense and composure of an adult dog.
He gets along well with other dogs, although he’s shy with them at first, and he’s good with dog-savvy cats. Birds are snacks, so a bird-free household is your best bet with Crypt.
Like a lot of huskies, he’s also very vocal, and while he doesn’t mind being crated or left to roam free in a house, he can be barky at passersby, so apartment dwelling is probably not for him.
All in all, this pocket-size sweetie of a husky cross is a great option for a lot of people looking for a dog that’s trained, socialized, and ready to go.
