Pet Connection: Meet Bunny

CASSELTON, N.D. — Bunny’s hopping her way into the studio with hopes of a furever home for Easter as high as her very impressive vertical leap.

She’s been sitting in foster now for more than 200 days, ever since she and a puppy were rescued from where someone abandoned them in a locked in a trailer in rural Barnes County.

The puppy’s since been adopted, but Bunny, inexplicably, still hasn’t been discovered yet by the right person or family.

She has a lot of energy at first, and is likely to greet you with a leap of joy and a big hug and kiss on the lips.

But after about fifteen minutes of playtime, she settles right down and is ready to relax and get cuddles from her people.

She loves all kinds of humans, but is selective about other dogs and should not be around cats or other small animals due to her high prey drive.

That makes her a great candidate to be part of a single-pet household.

She’s playful but still gentle, and enjoys car rides and other adventures just as much as she likes to be snuggled.

She’s young, spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and healthy, and with her under-50-pound build, she’s compact enough for most lifestyles.

Also, her adoption fee is entirely covered by donations, so you can bring her home for free after passing the application process.

And you can meet her at the upcim
