Deputy shot during call in northern Minnesota

MAX, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating a shooting Monday that left a northern Minnesota sheriff’s deputy injured.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a call in Max where the shooting happened.
The deputy was taken to a hospital. The Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the extent of those injuries.
The shooting suspect is in custody.
