Semi hauling bees overturns on I-94 in Valley City

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KVRR) — They are dealing with a mess in Valley City.

A semi hauling boxes of bees overturned on I-94 near Exit 292 after 4 p.m. sending bees everywhere.

You can see swarms of bees in the median.

A warning was issued to people in the southwest area of Valley City to shelter in place if they are allergic to bees.

Capt. Bryan Niewand of the North Dakota Highway Patrol says they are still working on a recovery plan.

The crash is under investigation.
