Jade Presents files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after ceasing operations last month

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Jade Presents, LLC has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a little over a week after announcing that the business had closed after over three decades in operation.

Court documents show the case was filed on Saturday in the District of North Dakota and includes Tickets300, LLC.

The company lists assets at around $393,000 and liabilities at nearly $2.9 million.

The estimated number of creditors is between 5001 and 10,000.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy is also known as a “reorganization” bankruptcy to restructure debts and repay creditors over time.

The filing includes a proposed ticket claim form.

It asks for information including the shows you purchased tickets for, how many and how much money you contend you are owed for each ticket.

Dozens of concerts that were scheduled by Jade Presents were impacted by the closure.

Shows at Bluestem Amphitheater and UP District Festival Field were cancelled.

Others like the upcoming Alison Krauss & Union Station show set for June 16 at Bluestem is being moved to Scheels Arena in Fargo with tickets being transferred to Ticketmaster.

In a release when the business closure was announced, owner Jade Nielsen thanked everyone who has supported them and said they would release more information as legal matters unfold.

A court hearing is set for Friday, June 12 at 9:30 a.m.
