Wanted Minnesota Cult Leader Caught In Brazil

A wanted Minnesota cult leader who molested his young followers is arrested in Brazil.
Fifty-three-year-old Victor Barnard has been the subject of an international manhunt since last year.

Barnard was the leader of the River Road Fellowship which was a religious cult in Pine County. He faces 59 counts of sexual abuse of minors.

One of Barnard’s accusers confirmed his identity when U.S. Marshals Services showed her a photo of him in handcuffs. He was arrested late last night in the southern coast of Rio Grande do Norte.

He was on the U.S. Marshals’ most wanted list.
