Food and Fasting
The Cass–Clay Emergency Food Pantry director is going on a fast to highlight the need for food.
The organization saw a 58% increase in the people they served last year.
It is due to more people moving to the area and the closure of some pantries.
To bring attention to provide food to those in need, executive director Pat Claus will be fasting from Wednesday until Friday.
Executive Director of the organization said, “I’m just going to drink water because I think a lot of people understand what it is to miss a meal, I don’t know how many people understand a meal for a day or two days or longer.”
