Fargo Lawmaker Pushes Medicinal Marijuana
A freshman lawmaker from Fargo is pushing for the legalization of medicinal marijuana in North Dakota.
Democratic representative Pam Anderson’s bill has bipartisan support. She says she introduced the legislation at the request of one of her constituents who suffers from chronic pain. She says the 64-year-old man gets sick from taking prescription drugs.
Twenty-three states have laws allowing medical marijuana.
