Short Pursuit On I-29

Driver Facing Multiple Charges

One man is in custody after a short pursuit on I-29. Saturday night around 7:40, a traffic stop was attempted on a reported stolen vehicle from Devils Lake.

Twenty-six-year-old Martin Nerison from Devils Lake attempted to flee and traveled two miles before OnStar disabled the car’s motor and the pursuit ended. Nerison was taken into custody without incident.

He is being charged with fleeing an officer, driving under suspension, and possession of stolen property.
