NDSU Innovation Competition
NDSU students are taking part in a contest focusing on the innovation of new and unique products and services.
Dozens of teams are competing for $20,000 in cash prizes.
There are three categories in the competition; services, products and corn–related innovation.
Some of the entries include a hanger that can hang high heels, specialized tracks for wheelchairs and an application that can monitor blood pressure.
“We’d like students to take their ideas, develop and think about them and while they don’t have to develop a business, hopefully some of our winners will take the cash that they win and actually start a business and create jobs and create good things that are solving problems in the world,” said NDSU Research Park Interim Executive Director Chuck Hoge.
Winners of the competition will be announced on February 26th.
