Arrests Made in Credit Card Fraud Case in Stutsman and Barnes Counties

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KVRR) — Two people are in custody after a multi-agency investigation into fraudulent credit card purchases in Jamestown made over the internet.
27-year-old Chanulae Smith and 34-year-old Courtney Collins were arrested.
The purchases were traced to a home in Valley City where officers seized a stolen firearm, marijuana, cell phones, laptops and computers and a vehicle.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, theft of property, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Collins was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm.
The investigation continues.
