Preston Seeks Another Term on City Commission
FARGO — Deputy Mayor Arlette Preston is seeking another term on the city commission, according to her news release Thursday.
Preston was most recently elected to the city commission in 2020 and also served on it previously from 1992 to 2000.
Preston also served on the Fargo Board of Education for the Fargo Public Schools from 2002-2006.
She ran for mayor in 2022.
Preston is running on a platform that she says includes increasing affordable housing, securing transparency in city government, and implementing a long-term plan for the city.
