Dilworth launches website to promote community center plans

DILWORTH, Minn., (KVRR)- Dilworth has plans for their new community center, and you can see it all online.

The city has launched a website Dilworthontrack.com, to show everyone everything they can expect with the new community center.

The website has their goals with the plan, the process for deciding what’s in the center, challenges with the previous center, and even the cost for the new center.

A half a percent tax will be voted on in november to help with funding and Dilworth wants to be as transparent as possible with it and the new center. Peyton Mastera, the Dilworth City Administrator, said, “Absolutely, we want to provide transparent information.”

Mastera also said, “We want to provide accurate information and we want to be as open about this process to the best of our abilities in a clear and concise manner.”

The old center is to be closed this April and will have a farewell event for the center on April 11th.
