Bond Set at $500,000 For Grand Forks Teen Charged With Murder

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A Grand Forks teen appears in Northeast Central District Court on a felony AA murder charge.
17-year-old Cazmere Haskins made his initial appearance after he was moved to adult court.
The judge set bond at $500,000.
Haskins is charged in the stabbing death of 24-year-old Anfernee Economy of Grand Forks during a fight at an apartment complex in the southern part of the city on March 7.
Economy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The AA felony murder charge is punishable by up to life in prison without parole.
His next court appearance is set for April 29.
