FARGO — The Red River Zoo has a brand-new bouncing baby bison named “Fargo”, the first in the zoo’s history.

The zoo posted the birth announcement via Facebook, saying the baby was born to mom Marge.

Marge came to the zoo from the Wind Cave National Park in 2021.

She’s part of the zoo’s conservation herd, along with bison Barry and Meredith.

The baby is on exhibit with its fellow herd members at the Scheels Pride of the Prairie building.
