LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Clementine

She really is a darling.

FARGO — Clementine’s story is a long and winding one, but fortunately, unlike her namesake song, she’s no longer “lost and gone forever,” but found right here in the metro at Homeward Animal Shelter and looking for her furever home.

She’s a three-and-a-half-year-old pitbull whose story starts in Texas with a family there, and who somehow wound up in the pound in Fargo, which is where Homeward rescued her from.

She has a goofy, outgoing personality, very typical of the breed, with a huge, classic pittie “smile” that seems to wrap halfway around her head any time she’s getting pets and cuddles.

She’s up for playtime with other big dogs, which makes her a much better match for families that have big dogs already rather than small breeds.

She is not a fan of cats.

She gets along with men, women and kids, and is just as much excited about joining you on an adventure as she is on the floor for a snuggle.

If Clementine is the darling for you, check out her profile, and don’t forget to sign up for Homeward’s 32nd annual Paws Walk fundraiser on Tuesday.
