LIVE: New Name, Same Mission

FARGO — It’s an event that will fill your heart and your tummy, all at the same time.

And after forty years of fighting the good fight for women and kids struggling to escape domestic violence, the YWCA is changing the fundraiser’s name.

The annual “Chocolate and Chili Fantasy” is now “Chocolate for Change.”

Bidding starts now for their silent auction items.

As always, volunteers and community leaders will be on hand to help serve chili and a smorgasbord of chocolate desserts.

And as always, a highlight of the event is the chance to hear from some of the YWCA’s former clients about how their lives have been changed with the help of the YWCA and its workers.

The YWCA’s Allison Pillar joined the Morning Show to talk live in studio about next week’s big event and what your donation dollars can do to help families right here in the region.
