UPDATE: UND Police identify owner of pickup involved in hit-and-run of child near elementary school

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR: UPDATE 5PM) — UND Police have identified the owner of a pickup involved in a hit and run but are still seeking witnesses.
They say an elementary-age kid was hit near Lake Agassiz Elementary on 39th Street and 6th Avenue North.
The pickup could be seen fleeing the scene.
Police have not given any update on the child.
They say this is still an active investigation at this time.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR-KFGO) – The University of North Dakota Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the owner of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that struck an elementary-age child near North 39th Street and 6th Avenue North.
The suspect vehicle is a 2008 to 2018 Silver or Gray Ram 1500 pickup.
If anyone has information or witnessed the incident is asked to contact UND Police immediately. Police say public assistance is crucial in helping the investigation.
