“It’s Circus Time,” El Zagal Shrine Circus is Back For 73rd Annual Circus at the Fargodome

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The El Zagal Shrine Circus has brought many ready for the performances and magic of the show. With six performances planned this weekend at the Fargodome, the performers are ready to get this show on the road.
“Here in Fargo, people seem to love it and we keep getting people here. And I think people enjoy it. My kids grew up coming here and I had when my kids were in college and sometime after college, they would come back and help. It’s circus time, this is a tradition,” said Chad Decker, Potentate of 2025 for El Zagal Temple
The Shrine Circus has been around since 1906, bringing shows across 120 cities in the United States and Canada each year. The idea, to bring family fun for everyone.
“I’ve seen some teenagers that say well that was okay. The eight-year-olds and the ten-year-olds they are just riveted. This is the coolest thing ever and for me that’s awesome. That is my favorite part of the circus far none. So as long as we can put on something the people really enjoy, that’s great,” said Decker.
Each year the performers prepare for several months. This past year, the El Zagal Shrine started preparations in October for this year’s circus. And Decker says they have already scheduled for several years out.
“As long as people are willing to come and enjoy it and spend some time with us, we’ll keep doing it. And if people say you know what this isn’t something we’re interested in doing, we rather do something else, we’ll listen to that too,” said Decker.
Tickets are still available for purchase at the Fargodome and Ticketmaster.
