Highway Patrol arrests unnamed suspect after pursuit hit 115 MPH Saturday in Cass County

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A man who failed to stop for a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper on Saturday afternoon near Casselton, igniting a 25 mile pursuit, is arrested.

The suspect, who was not named by the patrol, hit speeds of 115 miles per hour on I-94 and Highway 18 and drove into oncoming lanes.

A PIT maneuver was used to stop his vehicle and the man was taken into custody.

He faces a long list of charges including fleeing, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless endangerment and open container.

The suspect also has active arrest warrants.

He was taken to Sanford Medical Center for evaluation before being released and booked into the Cass County Jail.
