Blizzards in July

FARGO — You might not think a blizzard in July is much of a miracle, but you’d be wrong.

You can help make miracles happen this week on Miracle Treat Day, happening this Thursday.

That’s the annual event that gives money from each Blizzard sold at local Dairy Queens to Sanford Children’s Hospital.

Moorhead Dairy Queen’s Troy DeLeon brings his employees to visit some of the young patients and their families who the fundraiser helps, so they can see firsthand the difference their efforts make.

He and Sanford Foundation’s Hillery Mork joined the Morning Show to give Emily, Alex and Dylan a taste test of this year’s newest flavors and a conversation about what this fundraiser means to families of sick kids in our region.
