Moorhead Sausage Fest

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Moorhead kicks off the fall season with their annual Sausage Festival.

For the fifth year, the festival has brought a variety of vendors, contests, music, and more.

Bringing the metro area a taste of German delicacies, from craft beer to wines.

The people at the festival say it is the WURST (best) event of the year.

“This is kind of a German area, a lot of history there, and we’re just kind of expanding on the heritage and fall harvest. It’s a good time… But as you look around and you see all of these people enjoying something that we helped put together to create it makes it all worthwhile. It’s fun watching people have fun,” said Mitchell McKaig, Co-Chair of Moorhead Sausage Festival.

Festivities continued until late at night with discussions of next year’s event to start soon.
