Jahner seeks 2nd term as Cass County sheriff

FARGO (KVRR/KFGO) – Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner is running for another term.

Jahner is completing his second, four-year term.

Jahner, a long-time deputy who succeeded Sheriff Paul Laney, says he’s deeply honored and grateful to serve the community as sheriff. If reelected, he says he’d continue to build upon a foundation of forward-thinking leadership, foster collaboration and provide a high level of public safety, transparency, accountability and professionalism.

Jahner joined the sheriff’s department as a correctional officer in 1998 and was promoted to a patrol deputy in 2000.

So far, no one else has announced for sheriff.
