Leeds, ND man killed after crashing into semi that had turned onto U.S. Highway 2 Monday morning

BENSON CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Leeds, North Dakota man is dead after crashing into a semi hauling corn that had just turned onto U.S. Highway 2.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 10 a.m. on Monday, about six miles east of Leeds.
The 72-year-old man was taken to CHI St. Alexius Health in Devils Lake where he died.
The patrol says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
