Nice Weather Means Families Flock to Bubblefest
The plaza at The Lights was absolutely packed with people enjoying the majesty of bubbles.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – With the weather in Fargo-Moorhead finally trending towards the warmer end of the spectrum, families in West Fargo jumped at the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine.
They turned up in massive numbers for Bubblemania, a celebration of all things bubble-related at the Lights in West Fargo.
There were stations with bubble wrap, a chance for kids to make their own bubble wands, and suds constantly soaring through the sky.
West Fargo Events said that seeing so many people come together to take advantage of the nice weather is always a gratifying experience.
“We love this. We love when this many people come out and support our events. We love to be able to put on an event for the community,” said Britta Timm, marketing and events manager.
The Lights will host community events all spring and summer – but perhaps the most audacious one will occur on May 29 and 30, when the entire plaza is transformed into a bull-riding ring for Chutes and Boots Pro Bull Riding.
